Technology
Operating MBR technology, it is difficult to meet the requirements for criteria of water quality ( BOD: below 5, SS: below 5, TN: below 20, TP: below 2).
This problem can be solved by means of operation of aeration tank with standard activated sludge method in 2 units of the new settling tank of the existing structure, treatment of TN and BOD by inducement in denitration tank and new flotation & separation systems with advanced treatment facility for the improvement of quality management to meet the requirement of criteria for water quality.
Principle
Utilizing biological treatment, A/O at first and the second progress of flotation as the advanced sewage water treatment, it is possible to remove T-P, T-N including dissolved substances effectively for the stable management of effluent water quality.
Expected Effects
① This is the technology to meet the requirements of current environmental policy with the high efficiency to remove all items for water quality including phosphorus.
② This has many advantages for maintenance and management by simple modification of the existing facilities with the cheap cost of chemical and variation of water quality is stable. For the selection of waste/sewage water treatment facilities, the standards of water quality for BOD, SS, TN, TP should be considered as the priority matters to satisfy the standards.
The existing methods to treat the private facilities for sewage water could meet the standards of discharge water quality, these could meet the requirements while the problems of nitrogen and phosphorus were disregarded. For the countermeasures against the climate changes such as the generation of green algae recently, they have been included in the new environmental policy while the existing facilities can not be sufficient to meet them.
Utilizing technology of flotation process through reaction of chemical coagulation, we made it possible to treat and remove all items required for water quality including nitrogen and phosphorus as well as dissolved substances.
